PPC Coordinator

Job Description

Swell Media is looking to expand the support for our clients’ PPC programs. We are looking for an energetic and passionate individual with an analytical mindset that can support our PPC account specialists in growing our clients’ programs with an eye towards optimization and lead generation.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or communications. Applicants should possess a strong desire to develop their understanding of PPC fundamentals and exhibit the enthusiasm to become a contributing member of a team within our agency. The PPC Coordinator will perform the day-to-day operations that make each account successful. You will become part of a team of experts who continually seek to learn and evolve to produce exceptional results for our clients.


  • Support digital marketing efforts related to the execution, analyzing and reporting for all paid campaigns across channels and disciplines.
  • Take direction and execute pay per click (PPC) campaign strategies including, but not limited to account setup, organization and optimization.
  • Reporting and analysis of trend data from Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads and all other social platforms.
  • Monitor PPC trends, best practices and techniques.
  • Proactively research accounts and provide ongoing opportunities that align with client goals.
  • Support the needs of team members as it pertains to the strategy and planning of client campaigns.
  • Provide competitive insights to assist in improving client campaign strategies and results.
  • Assist in outlining campaign objectives and creating planning documentation.

Experience & Requirements

  • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact with internal peers and management as well as vendors and outside agencies.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments in order to anticipate and meet multiple deadlines.
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is encouraged.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and Google AdWords. Certification is encouraged.
  • Ability to understand client objectives and how they translate into search strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  • A close eye for detail with the ability to see how those details fit into the bigger picture.
